FBR Extends Hours for Tax Collection Before Fiscal Year End

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that all its field formations will observe normal working hours on June 27 and 28, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday), to facilitate the collection of duties and taxes.

Extended Working Hours for Revenue Collection

According to an FBR notification issued on Friday, the extended working hours will also be observed on June 29 and 30, 2026 (Monday and Tuesday), to ensure maximum revenue collection before the close of the fiscal year.

Directive to Field Offices

The board directed all FBR field offices, including Large Taxpayers’ Offices (LTOs), Medium Taxpayers’ Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) across the country, to implement the extended schedule.
