NADRA Mega Centre Opens in Karachi's Surjani Area

Sindh Governor Syed Nihal Hashmi on Monday inaugurated a new NADRA Mega Centre in Karachi's Surjani area, a move aimed at making identity registration and documentation services more accessible for residents of the area and nearby localities.

Facilities and Services

According to NADRA officials, the newly established facility has dedicated service counters for senior citizens and persons with disabilities to ensure a smoother and more convenient experience. The mega centre is equipped with 20 one-window counters, allowing citizens to access multiple services under one roof.

Officials said the centre also includes a large waiting area with seating for up to 200 people at a time. The facility has the capacity to serve more than 2,000 applicants every 24 hours.

Impact on Residents

With the opening of the new mega centre, millions of residents in Surjani and surrounding areas will now be able to access all NADRA services at a single location. Officials added that the inclusion of a zonal office within the facility will save citizens from travelling to the Ayesha Manzil office for related services.

This development is expected to significantly reduce the time and effort required for residents to obtain identity documents, birth certificates, and other essential services.
