The Punjab Highway Patrolling Police (PHP) Faisalabad region has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a private educational institute, Eagle Eye Institute, on Thursday. The agreement was formalized by SSP Patrolling Mirza Anjum Kamal and Principal Eagle Eye Institute Syed Faheem Gillani.
Key Benefits for Police Families
Under the MoU, children of martyred and retired policemen will receive a 100% tuition fee waiver for IT courses, while children of in-service employees will get a 50% fee concession. This initiative aims to support the education of police personnel's families, providing them with opportunities to gain valuable IT skills.
Road Safety Training for Students
As part of the collaboration, the patrolling police will also impart training on road safety, traffic rules, and security measures to college students. This educational component is designed to enhance awareness and reduce accidents among young road users.
Expanding Network of Support
SSP Mirza Anjum Kamal has already signed MoUs with more than 25 different hospitals, labs, and educational institutes. A large number of children of martyred, retired, and in-service policemen are already benefiting from these agreements, which cover a range of services including healthcare and education.
