Pakistani Rupee Gains 3 Paisa Against US Dollar

The Pakistani rupee strengthened by 3 paisa against the US dollar in interbank trading on Tuesday, closing at Rs278.57 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs278.60, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Open Market Rates

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs279 and Rs279.60, respectively.

Other Currency Movements

The Euro depreciated by Rs0.12 against the rupee, closing at Rs323.92 from the previous day's close of Rs324.04. The Japanese Yen remained unchanged at Rs1.75. Meanwhile, the British Pound saw an increase of Rs1.04, closing at Rs373.07 compared to the previous day's Rs372.03.

The UAE Dirham decreased by 1 paisa, closing at Rs75.84, while the Saudi Riyal remained unchanged at Rs74.23. Gold prices in the domestic market also remained unchanged.
