Pakistan Weather Forecast: Hot and Dry Conditions Expected Across Country
Hot and Dry Weather Forecast for Pakistan Next 24 Hours

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly hot and dry weather across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours, with plain areas likely to experience intense heat. However, the Met Office said isolated rain, gusty winds and thunderstorms are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and nearby hilly regions during the afternoon.

Islamabad and Surrounding Areas

In Islamabad and surrounding areas, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry, although partly cloudy skies are expected at times.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also expected to experience warm and dry conditions. However, partly cloudy weather with chances of isolated rain, strong winds and thunderstorms is forecast in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Mansehra and Parachinar.

Punjab

Punjab is likely to remain mostly hot and dry as well. Nonetheless, afternoon rain, windstorms and thunderstorms may occur at isolated locations in Murree, Galiyat, Jhelum, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal and adjoining areas.

Sindh and Balochistan

In Sindh, hot and dry weather is expected to continue, with upper and central districts likely to face very high temperatures. Coastal areas may experience strong, dust-laden winds. Balochistan is also forecast to remain mainly hot and dry, while central districts are expected to experience very hot weather. Dust-raising gusty winds are likely in coastal parts of the province.

Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan

According to the PMD, partly cloudy conditions with isolated rain, wind and thunderstorms are expected in Kashmir, while Gilgit-Baltistan is likely to experience partly cloudy to dry weather during the forecast period.
