Business leaders, investors, and policymakers will gather in London on July 8-9 for the 25th edition of the BMG Summer Retreat and the annual BMG Economic Forum, two events aimed at highlighting Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation and investment opportunities.
BMG’s Silver Jubilee Events
Hosted by BMG Financial Group and the BMG Foundation, the silver jubilee edition of the retreat will bring together international stakeholders to discuss developments in the Kingdom’s investment landscape, including projects linked to Vision 2030, Riyadh Expo 2030, and the FIFA World Cup 2034.
The centerpiece of the two-day program will be the BMG Economic Forum at the London Stock Exchange, which will mark the 10th anniversary of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reform agenda. This year’s theme, “Culture, Our Greatest Wealth,” reflects the growing role of culture and heritage in the Kingdom’s economic diversification efforts.
Diriyah Company Partnership
Diriyah Company, the forum’s strategic partner, will showcase investment opportunities connected to its $63.2 billion development project on the outskirts of Riyadh. The project, built around the historic birthplace of the First Saudi State, is expected to contribute $18.6 billion to Saudi Arabia’s national economy and create about 180,000 jobs. Plans include museums, hospitality developments, residential communities, retail districts, and cultural attractions.
Barada Fund Launch
The forum will also see the launch of the Barada Fund, an initiative designed to support economic development efforts in Syria.

Speakers are expected to include Jerry Inzerillo, group CEO of Diriyah Company; Badr Al-Badr, CEO of Misk Foundation; Hassan Allam, chairman and CEO of Hassan Allam Holding; Amr Allam, co-CEO of Hassan Allam Holding; Fakher AlShawaf, chairman and group CEO of AlBawani; Sir Prof. Magdi Yacoub, chairman of Heart Biotech Company; Prof. Khaled Kattan, vice president of Al-Faisal University; Ibrahim Al-Najashi, co-founder of Seha Invest; Faisal Abbas, editor-in-chief of Arab News; and Francis White, CEO of Heart Biotech Company.

On the following day, invited guests will attend a cultural evening and gala dinner at Kensington Palace. The evening will feature a musical piece in partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Culture, and include an auction of art pieces by Saudi artist Basil Al-Shehri in support of the Magdi Yacoub Institute. Organizers say the event will provide a platform to connect international investors with opportunities emerging from Saudi Arabia’s continuing economic and cultural transformation.
