Saudi Arabia is set to host Social Entrepreneurship Week from June 14 to 18, 2026, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) in partnership with the National Center for the Non-Profit Sector and the Social Development Bank. The event aims to underscore the significance of social entrepreneurship and its role in empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs), enhancing their growth and long-term sustainability.
Key Objectives and Participants
The week seeks to connect entrepreneurs with social investment opportunities and specialized partnerships within the sector. More than 44 entities from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors will participate, along with organizations that support social investment and community development. This collaborative effort highlights the growing emphasis on social impact in business.
Event Locations and Activities
The entrepreneurship week will be held at SME support centers in five major cities: Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, Alkhobar, and Asir. The program features a diverse range of activities, including more than eight main sessions, 50 entrepreneurial meetings, advisory sessions, and exhibition participation. Officials, experts, and specialists from various fields will be involved to provide insights and guidance.
This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and promoting social innovation as a driver of economic diversification and community development.
