HESCO Declares Feeder Exempt from Load Shedding

The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has declared the 11 KV Syed Meeran Muhammad Shah feeder in the city's SITE area exempt from load shedding, bringing the total number of its zero-outage feeders to 57.

Announcement by CEO

The company's spokesman, Sadiq Kubar, informed on Saturday that Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Faizullah Dahiri announced the exemption at a ceremony held at a hotel on Autobahn Road. The event was attended by industrialists and representatives of the business community.

Feeder Details

According to the spokesman, the feeder consists of 31 pole-mounted transformers and serves 150 industrial and commercial connections. He further stated that electricity is supplied to the feeder through a 7-kilometer-long high transmission wire.

This development is part of HESCO's ongoing efforts to improve power supply reliability in the region. The company has now achieved a total of 57 feeders with zero outages, providing uninterrupted electricity to key industrial and commercial areas.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast hot and dry weather for Sindh, which may increase electricity demand in the coming days.
