Saudi Arabia and Russia Discuss Dates Trade Expansion

Princess Sarah bint Bandar, executive director of the International Dates Council, recently held a meeting with Sergey Kozlov, Russia’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, at the Saudi Embassy in Moscow. The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the dates sector, with a focus on expanding the presence of dates and date-based products in the Russian market.

Both sides explored opportunities to increase trade and investment, as well as ways to collaborate on value-added initiatives and products. The goal is to drive sustainable growth and enhance the sector’s position in global markets. Ambassador Kozlov expressed support for the council’s efforts and emphasized his commitment to engaging with relevant Russian entities to build stronger partnerships and identify new avenues for collaboration.
