The written test for the recruitment of Lecturers (BPS-17) at Government College Hyderabad, a constituent college of Government College University Hyderabad, was conducted on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in a peaceful and well-organised manner. A total of 1,500 candidates appeared in the test across various disciplines, including English, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Sindhi, Urdu, Pakistan Studies, and Islamic Studies.
Transparent and Merit-Based Process
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan stated that the recruitment process was being conducted transparently and strictly on merit in accordance with the prescribed policy. He appreciated the organising teams for ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination.
Results to Be Announced Soon
Director HR Mr. Najamuddin Sohu said the written test was conducted in accordance with the university’s recruitment policy to ensure transparency and fairness. He confirmed that the results would be uploaded on the university’s official website soon.
