The Palestine Red Crescent Society successfully evacuated 33 patients and their 40 companions from the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, enabling them to receive critical medical care in Egypt. Since the start of Israel's military campaign in 2023, medical facilities in Gaza have lost 76 percent of their imaging equipment. Israel has imposed restrictions on the entry of medical and humanitarian supplies, including items such as crutches, ventilators, ultrasound machines, oxygen cylinders, and even children's toys, citing potential dual-use concerns.
