Arrested Terrorist Confirms Afghan Taliban Support

Evidence of the Afghan Taliban regime’s support to the terrorist organisation Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, involved in the cowardly attack on the Pakistan Rangers camp, has been revealed. The arrested terrorist, identified as Usman Ali, disclosed that he came from Jalalabad, Afghanistan, and was accompanied by three other companions: Abdul Hadi, Janan, and Umar Farooq.

“I was accompanied by three other companions named Abdul Hadi, Janan and Umar Farooq,” said Usman. He stated that Abdul Hadi, who came with him, has been killed. Janan had thrown a bomb at the Pakistan Rangers camp.

Details of the Attack and Training

Usman explained that they arrived seven days before the attack, staying with Abdul Hadi, a resident of Bajaur in Pakistan. “We were kept in an under-construction building. The weapons used in the attack were brought from Waziristan by Abdul Hadi,” he said. When Usman attempted to flee, he was shot and fell.

“I belong to Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, whose commander in Afghanistan is named Ahrar Maulvi Sahib,” Usman said. He added, “We were all trained in Afghanistan, I was only given a jacket, we prepared it for suicide bombing ourselves.” The suicide bomber jacket and other training were imparted to them in Afghanistan by Qari Umar.

Cross-Border Terrorism Concerns

Usman further revealed that before coming to Karachi, all arrangements were managed and completed from Afghanistan. Abdul Hadi knew everyone there and had come before them. According to defense experts, the Afghan Taliban regime is using Afghanistan’s territory against Pakistan by turning it into a safe haven for terrorists. Pakistan has repeatedly presented undeniable evidence of cross-border terrorism to the Afghan Taliban regime.
