Regional Election Commissioner Sargodha Division and Delimitation Authority Abrar Ahmed Jatoi continued the process of hearing objections against recent constituency delimitations across the division on Thursday. Official sources confirmed that a total of 152 objections were received from four districts of Sargodha division: 83 from Sargodha district, 37 from Khushab, 26 from Bhakkar, and six from Mianwali.
Hearings Progress in Sargodha District
The delimitation authority completed hearings for 82 out of 83 appeals from Sargodha district. One specific case was adjourned until July 22. Following the conclusion of Sargodha-based cases, the commission initiated hearings for the 37 appeals from Khushab district, scheduled from July 10 to July 14, 2026.
Upcoming Hearings for Mianwali and Bhakkar
Sources stated that objections related to Mianwali and Bhakkar districts will be taken up subsequently according to the established schedule. The hearings are conducted daily to ensure transparent and timely resolution of delimitation grievances within the regional jurisdiction.
