Gujar Khan Incident: Murder Over a Dispute
In Rawalpindi's Gujar Khan area, a young man named Muhammad Ali was allegedly killed over a minor dispute. The complainant, Farukh Sarfraz, reported to the police that several men took his brother, Muhammad Ali, from their residence. Later, Sarfraz received a WhatsApp message from Ali stating that he had been taken to the fields where the suspects were assaulting him.
Upon reaching the location, Sarfraz saw the suspects shoot Ali, critically injuring him, before fleeing the scene. Ali was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
Kahuta Incident: Shopkeeper Killed During Burglary Confrontation
In a separate incident in Kahuta, a shopkeeper was allegedly shot dead after confronting a suspect over an attempted burglary at his home. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, reportedly encountered the burglar and was fatally shot. Police have launched a search for the suspect.

Police officials stated that both cases are being investigated, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects. The Rawalpindi district has seen a recent uptick in violent crimes, prompting increased patrols and community awareness campaigns.
