President of the Patriotic Companions and traders leader Mian Mateen said on Thursday that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi played a leading role during the recent rounds of US-Iran peace talks. He stated that Mohsin Naqvi has emerged as an experienced politician who, along with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, worked day and night to broker a US-Iran peace deal.
World Relief After Successful Negotiations
In a press statement, Mian Mateen said that the world heaved a sigh of relief after successful negotiations between Iran and the US. He also noted that the interior minister played his role like a national leader and deserves appreciation for bringing good name to Pakistan.
People worldwide are saying that Pakistan should be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize for its best diplomacy, according to Mian Mateen. The interior minister has done a lot of work to make passport issuance easy and facilitate repatriation of Afghan nationals, besides introducing much needed reforms in the Federal Investigation Agency, he added.
