A judicial magistrate on Saturday granted the police a five-day physical remand of three suspects in a case involving the alleged abduction, sexual assault, and robbery of two foreign women. Judicial Magistrate Azhar Mahmood issued the order after the suspects—identified as Rizwan, Nasir, and Nawaz—were produced before the court under strict security with their faces covered.
Court Proceedings and Police Request
During the hearing, the investigating officer informed the court that the suspects' medical examinations had been completed. However, the recovery of items linked to the case remained pending. The police specifically noted that a gold ring and a wristwatch belonging to the victims had yet to be found.
Remand Approved
After reviewing the police request, the court approved a further five-day physical remand to facilitate the recovery of the missing items and further investigation. The suspects were taken into police custody for the remand period.
