Islamabad Police on Sunday conducted extensive combing and search operations across various areas of the federal capital, resulting in the checking of 438 individuals, 238 households, 28 hotels, 39 shops, 223 motorcycles, and 94 vehicles. According to police officials, 10 suspicious individuals and 15 motorcycles were shifted to different police stations for further investigation.
Operation Details and Supervision
The operations were carried out under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, and under the oversight of Zonal SSPs. The grand search and combing operations were conducted in different areas of the city to prevent crime and suppress criminal elements.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza stated that the purpose of the search operation is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security across the city. “Search operations are being conducted in various areas throughout the district. Islamabad Police continue its indiscriminate actions against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers,” he said.
Scope of the Operation
The police checked a total of 438 individuals during the operation. In addition, 238 households were searched, along with 28 hotels and 39 shops. The traffic check included 223 motorcycles and 94 vehicles. The 10 suspicious individuals and 15 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further questioning and legal proceedings.
