Rawalpindi: Security forces and law enforcement agencies have neutralised 22 khwarij terrorists during a joint intelligence-based operation in Khyber district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Friday.
Details of the Operation
The operation targeted Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij elements. According to the ISPR, the terrorists, driven by cowardice and fear of capture, opened indiscriminate fire, resulting in the martyrdom of a ten-year-old innocent child.
Recovered Items
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the neutralised khwarij, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region.
