LAHORE: Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Kharal has issued a stern warning to officers, instructing them to ensure the achievement of Social Security and Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) recovery targets. He made it clear that negligence or delays in this regard would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Meeting on Rashan Card Programme and Recovery Targets
Chairing a meeting of the Directorate of Social Security Gulberg and Model Town Lahore on Tuesday, the commissioner received a detailed briefing on the progress of the Maryam Nawaz Rashan Card programme and the recovery targets. He directed officers to ensure that recoveries are made strictly in accordance with the prescribed targets and emphasized the need for improved performance across all field formations.
Appreciation and Disciplinary Action
The commissioner appreciated officers who demonstrated good performance, while ordering disciplinary and administrative action against those who failed to meet expectations. He stated that a zero-tolerance policy would be implemented against negligence and poor performance, adding that immediate action would be taken against officers failing to achieve assigned recovery targets.
Continuous Monitoring
He further added that continuous monitoring of field offices is being carried out to enhance institutional performance and ensure the achievement of recovery and welfare objectives. The meeting was attended by officers of the Directorate of Social Security Gulberg and Model Town, who reviewed progress on key performance indicators (KPIs) and future targets.
