Hot and Dry Weather Expected in Most Parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that hot and dry weather will prevail in most parts of the country over the next 24 hours. However, the Met Office also forecast rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms at isolated locations in Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.

Temperature Recordings

On Monday morning, temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Karachi 30°C, Peshawar 26°C, Lahore 24°C, Islamabad 22°C, Quetta 19°C, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad 17°C, and Murree 14°C.

Weather in IIOJK

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), partly cloudy weather with chances of isolated rain is expected.
