MUZAFFARGARH - A middle-aged man was killed after being struck by a detached solar panel during a windstorm in the area. Police reported that 55-year-old Alam Sunara was sleeping in the courtyard of his house when a solar panel installed on the rooftop of his neighbour's house was dislodged by strong winds and fell into the courtyard. The panel struck him on the head, killing him on the spot. Family members shifted him to the DHQ Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. Rescuers completed the necessary legal formalities before handing over the body to the family. Police stated that the family of the deceased refused a postmortem examination, and the case was closed from the legal side.
