Three Killed, 10 Injured in Karachi Firing Incidents

KARACHI: Three people were killed and 10 others were injured in 13 separate incidents of firing late at night in Karachi, according to police and media reports. Women and young children were among the injured.

Details of the Fatalities

The deceased were identified as 35-year-old Shakeel, who was killed near Chappal Market in Banaras; 32-year-old Yasin, killed at Qasba Mor in Orangi Town; and 45-year-old Shahid, killed near Sameera Chowk in Safoora. All three were shot by unknown assailants.

Injured Victims

Ten individuals sustained injuries in separate attacks. The injured include:

  • 35-year-old Shaukat in Orangi Town Haryana Colony
  • 13-year-old Abdul Basit

Police have registered cases and are investigating the incidents. No arrests have been reported so far.

In a separate development, authorities announced that Ewing Hall will be restored as a heritage building.
