A grand ceremony held at the District Council Hall marked the distribution of tractors to local farmers, a move set to modernize farming practices in the region.

The event was graced by Member National Assembly Rana Ahmed Attique Anwar as the special guest. He was joined by a host of dignitaries including Deputy Commissioner Shahid Imran Marth, Members of Provincial Assembly Pir Ashraf Rasool, Rana Tahir Iqbal, Chaudhry Waseem Anjum Sindhu, and Atiya Iftikhar, alongside officials from the agriculture department. Together, they inaugurated the provision of green tractors to 232 farmers under a substantial subsidy.

Under this landmark initiative, a subsidy of Rs. 1 million is being provided per tractor. The keys to these new tractors were physically handed over to the lucky farmers during the ceremony. In his address, MNA Rana Ahmed Attique Anwar emphasized the Punjab government's commitment to farmer welfare. He urged farmers to fully utilize the facilities provided by the government and to play their pivotal role in strengthening the agricultural backbone of the country. He confirmed that all welfare facilities are being delivered directly to the farmers' doorsteps.
