The Punjab government has officially released comprehensive security directives in preparation for the upcoming Eidul Fitr festivities, which are anticipated to occur on either March 20 or 21. In response to the current security landscape, law enforcement agencies across the province are ramping up intelligence-based operations and conducting extensive combing activities to preempt any potential threats.
Three-Tier Security Framework for Eid Congregations
According to a detailed statement from the Punjab Home Department spokesperson, authorities have been instructed to execute a foolproof three-tier security strategy at all major Eid prayer gatherings. This plan mandates strict surveillance of mosques and Islamic centers, with only a single entry point permitted at significant prayer venues to control access effectively.
Enhanced Screening and Surveillance Measures
