A 25-year-old man, Zafarullah Shaheezai Jalalzai Kakar, died by suicide in Qila Saifullah district, Balochistan, after allegedly being kidnapped, gang raped, and blackmailed by three suspects. Police and family members confirmed the incident, which has sparked outrage and demands for justice.
Kidnapping and Assault Details
According to police, Zafarullah was abducted on June 13 by three men who filmed him in a compromising condition, raped him, and later abandoned him by the roadside. He remained hospitalized in Quetta for three days before returning home. The suspects then sent the video to his family via WhatsApp, demanding a meeting and threatening to release the footage on social media if their demands were not met.
Blackmail and Suicide
Zafarullah informed his family about the blackmail before taking his own life. His uncle, Maulvi Ruhullah, told media that Zafarullah had been severely traumatized by the gang rape and threats. Police have launched an investigation, but no arrests have been reported yet.
