DUNYAPUR - In a daring heist, three armed robbers forced their way into a house within the jurisdiction of City Dunyapur police station and made off with cash and gold ornaments valued at millions of rupees.

Incident Details

The victim family reported that around 2:00 am on Tuesday/Wednesday night, three armed intruders broke into their residence located in Chak No 329-WB. The assailants took approximately 15 tolas of gold and Rs1.5 million in cash. During the robbery, the criminals shot Muhammad Jahangir, causing serious injuries. He is currently in critical condition at a local hospital.

Police Response

The City Police Station Dunyapur has registered a case under FIR No 274/26. However, no arrests have been made so far. The complainant, Yasir Jahangir, has appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister and the Punjab Police Inspector General for immediate action, urging them to ensure the swift arrest of the robbers and deliver justice to the family.
