Former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senator Taj Muhammad Afridi lost his life in a tragic traffic accident on the Peshawar Motorway near Swabi on Friday, as confirmed by Motorway Police officials.
Details of the Incident
According to authorities, the vehicle carrying the former senator suddenly went out of control and veered off the road. Preliminary investigations suggest a possible mechanical fault that may have caused the driver to lose command of the car.
Taj Muhammad Afridi died instantly at the scene, while the driver sustained injuries in the crash. At the time of the accident, the former senator was reportedly traveling from Islamabad to Peshawar.
