Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Communications and Works (C&W), Shakeel Ahmad, chaired a meeting on Wednesday regarding the Panjkora Bridge Timergara Bypass Road Project, organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority. The meeting focused on reviewing the project's progress and addressing challenges to ensure its timely completion.
Project Cost and Importance
The minister stated that the Timergara Panjkora Bridge Bypass Kondaro Road Project in Lower Dir is estimated to cost Rs621 million. He emphasized its great public importance, noting that it will help reduce traffic congestion and provide improved travel facilities for the local population. He added that all aspects of the project will be carefully reviewed to ensure construction is carried out feasibly, in accordance with public needs and expectations.
Technical and Legal Hurdles Discussed
During the meeting, Chief Engineer North Asad Khan briefed the minister on the legal complications and technical issues hindering the project's completion. A detailed review was conducted of all matters related to required land acquisition and other associated aspects. The meeting was also attended by XEN Nizam Khan and other relevant officials.
Commitment to Timely Completion
Shakeel Ahmad reiterated that all possible measures will be taken to ensure the project's timely completion, aligning with public expectations. He described the project as an excellent initiative for public welfare and regional development, underscoring its potential to transform transportation infrastructure in the region.
