The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has directed registered beneficiary women to collect their SIM cards by June 30, 2026, to ensure uninterrupted access to programme-related services, payments, and official communications. According to BISP officials, the SIM distribution campaign is part of efforts to improve communication with beneficiaries and streamline the delivery of welfare services. The cards are being issued at designated centres following verification of beneficiaries’ credentials.
Enhanced Communication and Reduced Intermediaries
Officials stated that the initiative will enable women to receive financial assistance updates, notifications, and other programme-related information directly, reducing dependence on intermediaries and helping prevent misinformation. Beneficiaries have been urged to visit the nearest designated BISP centre and complete the process before the deadline by presenting the required documents.

Officials warned that delays in obtaining SIM cards could affect access to future communications and services. The BISP administration has also appealed to community leaders and local representatives to help raise awareness about the campaign so that all eligible women are informed and able to benefit from the facility.
