Youth Dies in Sialkot Wall Collapse During Repairs

A 20-year-old youth died after being trapped under a wall and concrete slab during repair work on an old building in the Christian Town area of Sialkot on Wednesday.

Incident Details

According to Rescue 1122, the incident occurred when a jack being used to lift an old roof slipped, causing part of the structure to collapse. As a result, Muhammad Arshad Ali, son of Muhammad Asghar, was trapped beneath the wall and lintel and died on the spot.

Rescue Operation

Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the accident and, after a lengthy operation, recovered the body from the debris and handed it over to the family.
