Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Cuban statesman Raúl Castro Ruz on his 95th birthday, according to the presidential press service in Minsk.
In his message, Lukashenko described Castro as a model of extraordinary fortitude, unwavering commitment to ideals, and inexhaustible vitality. He highlighted Castro's rich experience as a statesman and his personal role in building a free and resolute Republic of Cuba as beyond measure.
The Belarusian leader noted that Belarus and Cuba have long been bound by warm, open, and truly fraternal relations, attributing this partly to Castro's merit. He expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation will maintain its high momentum across all areas of mutual interest for the benefit of both nations.
Lukashenko reaffirmed that Cuba can always count on the support of the Republic of Belarus. He concluded by wishing Raúl Castro strong health, fortitude, and continued success.
