ISLAMABAD - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation on Saturday with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan. US-Iran Negotiations Welcomed
Both foreign ministers welcomed the US-Iran negotiations, which have reached their final stage. An electronic signing ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow. They expressed hope that this important development will contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.
Saudi Appreciation for Pakistan's Role
The Saudi Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan's consistent and sustained efforts in support of mediation and dialogue throughout the negotiation process. Pakistan has played a key role in facilitating communication between the parties.
Upcoming Regional Four Foreign Ministers Meeting
The two sides also discussed the forthcoming Regional Four Foreign Ministers (R-4) meeting, which is scheduled to be held in Egypt later this month. The meeting will focus on regional cooperation and security issues.

In a separate note, tribute was paid to the legendary singer Shahenshah-e-Ghazal Mehdi Hassan, recognizing his immense contributions to music and culture.
