RAWALPINDI - Security Forces killed 21 more khwarij, including four ring leaders, belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna al Khwarij in a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in the general area of Miran Shah and its surroundings in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Details of Operations
Following fierce fire exchanges, in the last seventy-two hours, twenty-one more khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij, including four kharji ring leaders (Kharji Khalid Raza alias Salar, Kharji Muftoon, Kharji Musa, and Kharji Imran alias Ayan), have been sent to hell, thereby causing a significant blow to the khwarijs’ network operating in the area, said a news release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Killed Kharji ring leaders were highly wanted for their involvement in numerous terrorist activities, including killing of security forces personnel and innocent civilians. So far, in total, 48 khwarij have been killed in these highly skillful and precise operations, the news release said.
Recoveries and Continuation of Operations
Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from killed Indian-sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities and killing of innocent civilians.
Sanitization operations will continue to eliminate remaining holed-up khwarij from these areas, as the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under vision 'Azm e Istehkam' (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, it further said.
