The federal government of Pakistan has projected non-tax revenue of Rs5.336 trillion for the fiscal year 2026-27, marking an increase from the Rs5.093 trillion estimated for the current fiscal year. This projection includes Rs1.727 trillion expected from petroleum and climate levies on petroleum products.

The government anticipates collecting Rs5.336 trillion from various non-tax revenue heads, including levies and fees, income from property and enterprises, receipts from civil administration and other functions, and miscellaneous receipts.

Levies and Fees

Under this category, the government projects to collect Rs41.589 billion. This includes Rs14 billion from mobile handset levy, Rs27.517 billion from fees collected by the ICT administration, and Rs72 million from airport fees.

Income from Property and Enterprises

An amount of Rs435.760 billion is expected from property and enterprise income. This comprises Rs27.685 billion from PTA (3G/4G licenses), Rs1.3 billion from Pakistan Telecom Authority (surplus), Rs100.802 billion as mark-up from provinces, Rs170.851 billion as mark-up from PSEs and others, Rs130.387 billion from dividends, and Rs4.736 billion from regulatory authorities (surplus/penalties).

Receipts from Civil Administration and Other Functions

The government projects Rs1.480 trillion from this category, which includes Rs1.436 trillion from SBP profit, Rs5.887 billion from general administration, Rs31.473 billion from defence, Rs4.091 billion from law and order, Rs1.339 billion from community services, and Rs1.643 billion for social services.

These projections are part of the government's broader fiscal planning to enhance revenue collection and manage expenditures effectively.
