Police Recover Four Bodies with Gunshot Wounds from Ambulance in Bannu
Police in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, recovered four bodies with bullet wounds from inside an ambulance on Friday. The vehicle was found on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Circular Road, according to sources. Initial investigations indicate that the four victims, all middle-aged men, were killed when unidentified assailants opened fire on the ambulance.
Attack Believed to Have Occurred on Thursday Night
Officials estimate that the attack took place on Thursday night. After receiving a tip-off, police arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and began collecting evidence. The bodies were transported to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Case Registered Against Unknown Attackers
Police have registered a case against unidentified attackers and launched an investigation. The motive behind the attack remains unknown, and further inquiries are ongoing, officials said.
