NAWABSHAH – Strict snap checking and blockades are being carried out by police across the district, on the directives of SSP Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa. Under the special instructions of SSP, stringent security measures have been implemented throughout the district to maintain law and order and to eliminate criminal elements.
Comprehensive Security Campaign
In this regard, a comprehensive “general hold-up” and strict snap checking campaign is actively underway across the district. Heavy police contingents have been deployed at all major and minor entry and exit points of District Shaheed Benazirabad, where thorough checking of all incoming and outgoing vehicles, as well as monitoring of suspicious individuals, is being carried out.
Field Supervision by DSPs and SHOs
DSPs of all divisions and SHOs of all police stations are present in the field, personally supervising the snap checking and blockade operations. During the checking process, strict legal action is being taken against suspicious vehicles, vehicles without number plates, and those with tinted windows. Meanwhile, on-the-spot verification of suspicious individuals is also being ensured.
Public Message from SSP
In this regard, SSP Sameer Noor Channa, in a public message, said that “The protection of citizens’ lives and property is our top priority. Criminal elements will not be allowed to disturb the peace of the district under any circumstances. These strict security measures are for the safety and peace of the public, and citizens are requested to cooperate with the police.”
Appeal to the Public
The district police have appealed to the public to carry their identification cards and original vehicle documents while traveling and to immediately report any suspicious activity or individuals to the nearest police station or helpline.
