Security Forces Rescue 11 Abducted Policemen in Ziarat

Security forces have rescued 11 policemen who were abducted by terrorists following an attack on a police checkpost in Balochistan's Ziarat district. According to officials, 15 policemen are still missing, while a joint operation involving the Frontier Corps (FC) and police is underway to secure their safe recovery.

Operation Details and Casualties

Reports said security forces killed 15 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan during the operation, while several others were injured. Earlier, nine police personnel embraced martyrdom after putting up a brave fight against heavily armed militants who stormed a police checkpost in the Kach Mangi Phase III area of Ziarat.

Attack on Police Checkpost

According to the Ziarat Superintendent of Police (SP), the attack claimed the lives of nine officers, including two station house officers (SHOs). Funeral prayers for the martyred policemen were later offered with full honour as security forces continued operations against the attackers.
