Students received detailed briefings on several critical areas designed to equip them with knowledge and resources. They were informed about the legal framework surrounding harassment, blackmailing, and violence. A major focus was on the suite of technological tools launched by Punjab Police, which included:

  • Virtual Women Police Station: A dedicated online platform for women to report crimes.
  • Pukar 15: The emergency helpline for immediate police response.
  • Safe City Project: Utilizing surveillance for enhanced public security.
  • Panic Button & Women Safety App: Mobile-based solutions for quick alerts in distress situations.
  • Mera Pyara: An initiative focused on the protection of children.

The sessions clearly outlined Punjab Police's priorities regarding the protection of women and children and the concrete actions being taken against crimes that target them. The ultimate goal was to empower students by teaching them how to recognize, prevent, and confidently report gender-based crimes, thereby fostering a safer community environment for everyone.
