Fatal Crash in Kalanch Wala
A motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident reported in the Kalanch Wala area of Bahawalpur district. The incident occurred when the rider's motorcycle struck roadside construction, leading to critical head injuries.
Rescue 1122 Response
According to rescue staff of the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122), their control room received information about the accident and immediately dispatched a team and ambulance to the scene. Upon arrival, rescuers examined the victim's vital signs, which confirmed his death on the spot.
“A man riding his motorcycle received critical injuries in head when his bike struck against roadside construction in Kalanch Wala area which caused his death on the spot,” they said.
Body Handed Over to Family
The body was later shifted to the deceased's home. Funeral rituals were offered in his village, and he was laid to rest in the local graveyard.
Budget Approval in Punjab Assembly
Separately, the Punjab Assembly approved demands for grants amounting to Rs270.5 billion as the government defended its budget. The approval came during a session where provincial finances were discussed.
