The Sindh government, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), has resolved to offer specialized IT training to all educational board staff and equip the boards with modern equipment. This initiative was finalized during a pivotal meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ismail Rahu, at the office of the Secretary of Universities.
Project Scope and Modernization
Under the Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project (SSEIP), the government plans to integrate modern technology, implement e-marking, overhaul the examination system, and digitize governance processes across all educational boards. According to the minister, IT experts will conduct specialized training for board personnel with ADB's backing, while scanners, cutting machines, servers, and other contemporary equipment will be provided.

In a separate development, the Tharparkar Deputy Commissioner held an open court in Nagarparkar to address public grievances. Meanwhile, a tragic incident occurred in Karachi's Ghas Mandi area on Wednesday, where a child died after falling into a well. Rescue sources quoted by TV channels reported that the child was on his way home when he accidentally fell into the well. Rescue teams recovered the body and shifted it to a nearby hospital for legal formalities. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. In another operation, police arrested five suspects and recovered illegal weapons.
