Three-Year-Old Girl Raped and Brutally Murdered in Karachi

In a heartbreaking incident, a three-year-old girl was brutally murdered after being raped in Karachi. Police discovered the tortured body of the girl near her house. The postmortem report confirmed that the girl was raped and tortured before her death.

Sindh Home Minister Takes Notice

Sindh Home Minister Zia Lanjar took immediate notice of the rape and murder of the minor girl in Karachi. He directed the police to arrest the accused using the latest technology. Zia Lanjar also summoned a detailed and comprehensive report from the SSP Malir regarding the incident.

He stated that those who committed this heinous crime will not be spared. He emphasized that forensic evidence should be obtained for the identification and detection of the accused persons.

Condolences and Investigation Orders

Zia Lanjar expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the victim's family and assured them of all-out support. He ordered that an investigation must be conducted on a daily basis and that he should be apprised of the progress of the case.

Other Incidents in Punjab

In a separate incident, police found the dead body of a 7-year-old boy, Shakeel, near his house in Chak No. 71-GB under the jurisdiction of Police Station Thekriwala. Signs of rope were visible on the throat of the body. The police took custody of the dead body and shifted it to the hospital for an autopsy.

In another case, police retrieved an infant boy from the village of Kathwal and handed him over to his parents. According to details, a woman willfully took the infant child from the nursery of the Women and Children Hospital. This incident raised serious questions about the security standards of the Women and Children Hospital in Abbottabad.

PA Approves Rs270.5 Billion Demands for Grants

Meanwhile, the Provincial Assembly approved demands for grants amounting to Rs270.5 billion as the government defended its budget.
