LHC transfers 266 AD&SJs across Punjab

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday issued transfer and posting orders for 266 Additional District and Sessions Judges (AD&SJs) across Punjab, with immediate effect. According to a notification from the Registrar Office, the transfers and postings were approved by the Chief Justice in the public interest.

Key Transfers

Under the orders, Farkhanda Arshad was transferred from Attock to Kasur, while Saadat Hussain Malik was posted from Attock to Pattoki. Umar Rasheed was transferred from Fateh Jang to Hafizabad, and Harris Ali was moved from Bahawalnagar to Faisalabad.

Objective of Reshuffle

The notification stated that the reshuffle is aimed at improving administrative efficiency and ensuring the smooth functioning of courts across the province. This large-scale transfer is part of ongoing efforts to optimize judicial administration in Punjab.
