The Hyderabad police will deploy approximately 4,600 personnel to secure processions, majalis, and tazias on the 10th of Muharram, known as Yom-e-Ashur. The police spokesman confirmed on Friday that over 350 major and minor processions are scheduled across Hyderabad on 10th Muharram, including the central procession organized by Anjuman-e-Imamia Sindh.

Central Procession Security Details

According to the spokesman, the central procession will be guarded by 1,400 police personnel, while an additional 1,500 officers will be assigned to other processions. He stated that only one entrance and one exit will be established for the central procession, which will commence in the morning from Qadam Gah Moula Ali (RA) and conclude at Karbala Dadan Shah in the evening.

Individuals entering the procession must pass through walkthrough gates positioned near Bacha Khan Chowk, the spokesman added. All roads and streets intersecting the procession route will be sealed. A central control room has been set up at the City police station to monitor the procession using CCTV cameras.
