The district administration in Sialkot organized a grand and dignified ceremony in the city, where strong expressions of patriotism, national unity, and devotion to the Armed Forces of Pakistan were witnessed on the completion of one year since the historic success of "Battle of Truth" ("Marka-e-Haq"). For the event, Paris Road was beautifully decorated with colorful lights, green crescent flags, and attractive ornaments, while a magnificent fireworks display lit up the night sky and greatly excited the participants. The ceremony featured colorful cultural dances, patriotic songs, and special performances representing all four provinces, Azad Kashmir, and regional cultures, which were highly appreciated by the citizens. The patriotic songs and cultural presentations further inspired feelings of love for the country among the attendees.
The event was attended by Punjab Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resources Muhammad Mansha Ullah Butt, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Saba Asghar Ali, District Police Officer (DPO) Capt (retd) Dost Muhammad, Members of the National and Provincial Assemblies Chaudhry Faisal Ikram, Rana Arif Harnah, Begum Gulnaz Shujaat Pasha, Naveed Ashraf, Shakeela Arthur, Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan, Assistant Commissioner Safdar Shabbir, Municipal Corporation CEO Zubair Wattoo, along with other distinguished personalities and a large number of citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers said that "Marka-e-Haq" is clear evidence of the professional skill, bravery, and commitment of Pakistan's armed forces to national defense. They stated that this day is not only a remembrance of victory but also a renewal of the pledge that no sacrifice will be spared for the defense, security, and stability of the beloved homeland. The speakers further said that the Pakistan Army is the strong guardian of the country's ideological and geographical borders, and that the entire nation stands united under the green crescent flag alongside its armed forces for the defense and progress of the country.
During the ceremony, the atmosphere echoed with passionate slogans of "Allah-u-Akbar," "Pakistan Zindabad," and "Long Live Pakistan Army," while participants waved national flags to express their deep love for the country. Special prayers were also offered at the conclusion of the event for Pakistan's security, progress, and prosperity. The speakers reaffirmed their resolve that Pakistan will always remain strong and enduring, and continue to prosper forever.
